The Grand Foyer, four ways.

The same room, four angles, one switch. Scroll advances the lantern through the house until every panel is lit.

Detail 02 · Backlit Onyx

A wall of stone, or a wall of light.

The panels behind the hearth are backlit onyx. Off, they read as stone. On, they read as light. Palais specified the slabs, sourced the LED array, and integrated it behind the veining so the transition reads as the material shifting, not a fixture switching on.
